My little cutie playing in his jumparoo today. He slept almost all night...he was fussing several times between 12 and 1 AM but managed to put himself back to sleep each time. He then slept until I woke him at 6:45! I'm hoping he sleeps in tomorrow morning too - because this time I won't have to wake him! Cereal is going well too, we've moved from rice to oatmeal and he seems to prefer oatmeal! Next we'll try barley...then onto veggies!!

What a great day today! Jaxon slept till 7:30 and then came to bed with Tyler and me for a little while. He was happy all day. Cooing and 'talking' to me. He's starting to learn to make 'raspberries' and it's so cute to watch him attempting it time and again. He napped really well which is nice because he doesn't nap at daycare, so I like him to catch up a bit on the weekends. He loves to talk to me while he's on the changing table and it amuses me that our best talks are while I'm changing his diaper. When he was smaller, he'd scream through a diaper change, but now he loves the one on one time, I suppose. I also noticed him holding his hands together a lot today. I know that's a milestone, but I think he's lagging a bit - if I recall, it's a 4 month milestone and he's 4 months and 3 weeks or something...so not too far behind. We head back to the pediatrician Monday night. I'll be curious to see if he's gained any weight since his last visit. I just bought size 2 diapers which blows my mind. How do they get so big so fast? He'll be eating food soon and that scares me. So much more to think about than just plunking a bottle in his mouth. Hopefully he'll have a broader palate than his mother! :)

Mom Blog time

I keep thinking I should write all this stuff down for Jaxon in his baby book or in a journal or something and then it hit me....I already have a blog!! So - unfollow if you must, but from now on, you'll be reading all about me and my 4 month old!! This will be theraputic for me!! :)
